We are selective about the ad formats we use and deliberately avoid overly aggressive ad placements that degrade the user experience. We ask you to consider disabling your ad blocker while using SnagReel, as it directly supports keeping the service free.
SnagReel uses the open-source Cobalt API to process video URLs. Cobalt is a transparent, privacy-respecting video download API that does not store personal data. We chose Cobalt because it aligns with our values around privacy and open-source technology.
We support downloads from YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter/X, and Facebook — covering the five largest video platforms on the internet.
